March 2019

A dreamy, vague, drifting and daydreaming Pisces Sun will amble along until the 20th joining hands with Neptune its ruler on the 6th. Creative, spiritual but not very practical is how it will feel.  Resolutely down to earth Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn will attempt to ground decisions and actions between the 9th and 13th but it’ll be a struggle.

The major astro-news is Uranus moving into Taurus on the 6th for seven years ahead. It moved in for a brief foray last year but now it’s there for an extended run. Uranus is about innovation, upsetting the status-quo; while Taurus rules the material world, money and nature. So  radical changes in finances and in farming are likely.

Mars is in Taurus as well all month in a dreary trine to Saturn midmonth and an ultra-determined trine to Pluto a week later. So it’ll be a balancing act between the get-it-together Earth energy and the evasive Water.

In the final days the Sun zips into Aries, first sign of the zodiac, fiery, impulsive, go-ahead and upfront so it’ll be all-systems go. With Mars in communicative Gemini from the 31st lifting and lightening the mood as well.

OUTER PLANETS

Jupiter: In its own sign Sagittarius for a year from November 8 2018 until December 2019. Sagittarius is sporting, active, well-travelled, likes foreign cultures and countries; can also be philosophical, thoughtful, well-informed and narrow-minded.

Saturn: In Capricorn from December 20th 2017 till 2020/21 – usually coincides with a time of some financial shortages and the need to push ambitions ahead with persistence.

Uranus: In Aries from 1 March 2011 till May 15 2018; returning briefly from early November 2018 to early March 2019, when it leaves for good – hyper-active, energetic, determined to make new starts even if it means upsetting people, go ahead. Uranus was briefly in Taurus from May 2018 to early November 2018 – changing attitudes to handling of money, possessions and resources especially in agriculture and our attitude to nature. Then reversed back into Aries for a few months.  In Taurus again from March 6th 2019 for seven years.

Neptune: In Pisces from February 2012 for thirteen years – religious, spiritual, has resonances with Muslim history, odd ideas, indecisive.

Pluto: In Capricorn for sixteen years from Nov 2008 till 2024 = complete deconstruction and reconstruction of global economic and commercial structures and systems, as well as major changes in way in which governments work. In past times of Pluto in Capricorn (approximately every 250 years) there was territorial domination on a grand scale by charismatic leaders and ultimately a time of culture, learning, justice and prosperity.
