  1. Paul Allen has died. Co-founder of Microsoft.

Have been reading more news articles about a resurgence of polio and “like-polio” illnesses. Something neptunian we need to become aware of?

    • Russian trolls and bots on Twitter started the anti-vaccination movement in the US, going at it heavy between 2014 to 2017. Could be seeding for a harvest, larryc.

Flu deaths are expected in the 4,000 a week range, highest in 15 years. Will cause 1 out of every ten deaths. Can be alleviated with a vaccination, friends. Get one, please!

  2. Marjorie,

I know I’ve been asking you a lot questions with regards to U.S. politics. However, with the midterm elections just around the corner, this is the hottest topic right now.

In Tennessee, former governor Democrat Phil Bredesen (who is still very popular in Tennessee from what I’ve read) is now running for the U.S. Senate. Bredesen is described as a “moderate Democrat” (similar to Al Gore and Bill Clinton). Bredesen’s opponent in Tennessee’s U.S. Senate race is Republican candidate Marsha Blackburn.

Marsha Blackburn has been described as an ultra-conservative, Tea Party affiliated, anti-abortion, and anti-Obamacare candidate – she’s also a strong supporter of Donald Trump and his agenda and she doesn’t believe women need anymore rights (for example, she said she’s ok with women being paid less than men in the workforce).

Tennesse’s U.S. Senate has actually been very competitive this year – which is surprising considering how conservative and Republican that state has become. The polls have literally been all over the map and Bredsesen has actually managed to lead in some of them….and he’s tied Blackburn in some of them too.

However, the national media suddenly began paying closer attention to Tennesse’s U.S. Senate race when, on October 8th, country music / pop music singer (and pop icon) Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Phil Bredesen for the U.S. Senate. Taylor Swift, I believe, is a resident of Nashville, Tennessee.

Taylor Swift’s endorsement made BIG NEWS because she’s never been political before. After Taylor Swift’s endorsement, conservatives, Republicans, and Trump supporters around the country acted as if they were in “shock.” Also, they were saying on the news, that after Taylor Swift’s endorsement, voter registration shot up all around the country (Over 65,000 people registered to vote within just 24 hours after Swift’s endorsement of Bredesen).

Earlier tonight, CNBC came out with an article with the headline that read: “How Taylor Swift’s political endorsement could become the ‘biggest ripple ever’ at the polls”

Anyway, astrologically speaking, I was wondering what your insights and thoughts are with regards to Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and his big endorsement from Taylor Swift. Astrologically, does Phil Bredesen stand a chance of making it to the U.S. Senate this year? Will Taylor Swift’s endorsement help him?

I couldn’t find birth times for Bredesen or Blackburn….but I did find two possible birth times for Taylor Swift. Here’s the information I have been able to find on these three individuals:

Democrat Phil Bredesen was born November 21, 1943 in Oceanport, New Jersey (birth time unknown). Republican Marsha Blackburn was born June 6, 1952 in Laurel, Mississippi (birth time unknown). Taylor Swift was born December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania (two possible birth times for Swift have been listed at Astro Databank – 5:17 AM or 8:36 AM) .

Any thoughts or insights you could share would be greatly appreciated. And as always, thank you so much for all you do. I enjoy reading your daily posts.

  4. Marjorie, my take on the Eugenie/Jack south node cj midheaven of the wedding chart is that their fame is their undoing, and could become notoriety (as it did with her mother). They’ve been criticised for the lavish celeb-filled wedding (200+ more guests than Harry and Meghan) and the taxpayer costs of the security, including the (entirely unnecessary) carriage ride. She is not a working royal, and this kind of showiness and extravagance, if it continues, will backfire on them. There is also the matter of the scar, which could also be seen as a confluence of SN/MC symbolism: as the wound made visible; as an attempt to get sympathy by claiming victim status in the midst of extreme privilege; and/or as solidarity with the imperfect/damaged in all of us.

  5. Good afternoon Marjorie!
The Irish Presidential Election is being held on 26 October next (voting is between 7 a.m., and 10 p.m.)
Michael D. Higgins the President is going for re-election and looks like he will be re-elected but unusually
there are 5 others running against him and Irish Presidential Elections have a history of turning nasty (e.g., 1990 and 2011
    in later stages of campaign).
Michael D. Higgins was born on 18 April 1941 in Limerick.
    Any thoughts on this?
    Best regards,
    Norman
